- 1 medium onion, chopped

- 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant. Add chopped spinach and cook until wilted, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Place the pre-made pie crust into the pie dish. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Add the cooled spinach mixture and crumbled feta cheese to the egg mixture. Stir gently to combine.
- Pour the spinach and egg mixture into the pie crust. Ensure the filling is evenly distributed. If desired, you can sprinkle a little extra feta cheese on top for added flavor.
- Place the pie dish into the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the quiche is set and the crust is golden brown. A knife inserted into the center should come out clean. Let the quiche cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

- For a crustless spinach quiche recipe, simply skip the pie crust and bake the filling in a greased pie dish.
