Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian or potato rolls recommended)
- 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef (deli-style)
- 12 slices provolone cheese
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected if possible for easy assembly. Place the bottom half in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.
- In a saucepan, combine the au jus mix, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer, then add the roast beef slices, tossing to coat. Heat for 2–3 minutes until warmed through.
- Layer the warm roast beef over the bottom buns, then top each with a slice of provolone cheese. Place the top buns over the cheese. Mix melted butter with garlic and onion powder, then brush generously over the tops.
- Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 3–5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden. Sprinkle with parsley, slice into individual sliders, and serve with the remaining au jus for dipping.
Notes
- Use high-quality roast beef for the best texture and flavor.
- Don’t skip the butter glaze—it adds a golden, savory crust.
- Keep the au jus warm for maximum dipping enjoyment.
- Customize with toppings like caramelized onions or horseradish sauce.
