- 8 large marshmallows
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Prepare small bowls with melted butter and cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Separate crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Place a marshmallow on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll the dough around the marshmallow, sealing the edges completely to represent placing Jesus in the tomb.
- Dip each wrapped roll in melted butter, coating completely. Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture, ensuring an even coating representing anointing Jesus.
- Place coated rolls on the baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. The marshmallow disappears, leaving an empty tomb, symbolizing the resurrection.

- Completely seal the marshmallow inside the dough to prevent leaks.
