  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 8 oz rice noodles or egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice beef thinly against the grain. Chop vegetables uniformly. Mix sauce ingredients and set aside. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or large skillet. Cook beef in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same wok, stir fry garlic for 30 seconds, then add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Cook for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  4. Return beef to wok and add cooked noodles. Pour sauce over mixture and toss continuously for 1-2 minutes until well coated and sauce thickens.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot.
