- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
- 8 oz rice noodles or egg noodles
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (for garnish)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Slice beef thinly against the grain. Chop vegetables uniformly. Mix sauce ingredients and set aside. Cook noodles according to package instructions.
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet. Cook beef in batches for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same wok, stir fry garlic for 30 seconds, then add bell pepper, broccoli, and carrot. Cook for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Return beef to wok and add cooked noodles. Pour sauce over mixture and toss continuously for 1-2 minutes until well coated and sauce thickens.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot.
